Permits are required for door-to-door solicitations for amounts in excess of $25.  

What are my options for obtaining a Home Solicitation Sales Permit from the Clerk's office?

Applications for the Home Solicitation Sales Permit must be filled out in person at the Clerk's Office. In-person appointments are required and permits are processed only at the downtown Tampa location. Schedule your appointment online.

How do I obtain a Home Solicitation Sales Permit?

All applicants must appear in person, and present the following:

  • Current government-issued photo identification
  • Social Security Card
  • Two (2) recent passport photos
  • Completed Home Solicitation Sales Permit Application
  • A non-refundable application fee of $124 

NOTE:  All applicants are required to get fingerprinted and have a local record search completed by the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office, located at 2310 N. Falkenburg Road.
